We are very happy to welcome Reshu Aryal Dhungana as the interim Executive Director of Fulbright Commission / USEF – Nepal. Reshu is an experienced educational leader who chairs the Board of Teach for Nepal, a movement of young leaders dedicated to ending education inequity in Nepal. She is also the Founder of Habeli Outdoor Learning Center, dedicated to creating opportunities for children to learn in nature to become more holistically educated, environmentally conscious and climate change resilient. Ms. Aryal Dhungana has worked at Ullens Education Foundation from 2009 to 2013, where she also served as Director of Program and Communications. Previously, Ms. Aryal Dhungana was Coordinator at Film South Asia - Festival of South Asian Documentary. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1999 with a Bachelors in Anthropology and has completed her joint Masters in Leadership and Educational Change from the National Institute of Education, NTU, Singapore and Teachers College, Columbia University. Reshu was an invited mentor member of New York Academy of Sciences in 2016 and received the Alumni Achievement Award 2017 from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, as a recognition for her contributions to educational leadership and change in Nepal.
