Ms. Chandni Jaishwal

Health Management and Policy
Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia

Chandni works in National Academy of Medical Science, Bir Hospital, Kathmandu and her aim has been and still is to strengthen Nepali health system in order to ensure health for everyone. She graduated from Kathmandu University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and recently completed a Diploma of Advance Studies in Health Care and Management from University of Basel, Switzerland. Working in the Ministry of Health for more than 3 years, she served as Dental Surgeon in Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, Saptari district as well as the District Health Officer and Medical Superintendent in Jajarkot district.

Mr. Suyog Prajapati

Art History and Heritage Conservation
Rutgers, New Brunswick, New Jersey

Suyog has a master’s degrees in chemistry and Buddhist studies. He started working in the field of cultural studies and art history in 2007 by documenting Hindu and Buddhist archival materials. Alongside that, he has been a lecturer on indigenous technology to undergraduates at SANN International College, Kathmandu for the last three years. He aspires to learn and write about art and architecture and issues related to the use of native resources for uplifting the local economy.

Ms. Trishna Rayamajhi

Wildlife Conservation- Wildlife Genetics
Cornell University, Ithaca, New York

Trishna is a graduate of Kathmandu Forestry College. Her professional career started in 2014 as a researcher in the Federation of Community Forestry User Groups of Nepal (FECOFUN). Since 2016, she has been working as a Natural resource Conservation Assistant in the National Trust for Nature Conservation-Biodiversity Conservation Center (NTNC-BCC) in Chitwan.  Her vision is to support conservation through the application of genetics.

Ms. Sachina Sunuwar

Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change Adaptation
University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts

Sachina is currently working as Food Security and Livelihood Officer at CARE Nepal. Previously she worked as Agriculture and Livestock Officer at LI-BIRD. She has firsthand experience working with resiliency and humanitarian projects in eastern and central Nepal: dealing with detrimental effect of climate change in Nepalese agriculture and people’s livelihood. She is interested to study the global effects of climate change on agriculture and learn the best international practices of mitigation.
