| | Advising Center Highlights |
| | On December 12, Jenna Biedscheid, Fulbright Student Researcher in Nepal, conducted a workshop on Application Essay Draft Revision. The workshop helped students in the editing phase of application essays to make changes to their writing. Students struggling with lengthy application essays were able to make them more concise. The sessions taught students how to grab the attention of the admission staff. All in all, the workshop was beneficial and prepared the student to convert an unorganized, lengthy paper into one that is concise, easy to read, and leaves a lasting impression on the reader. |

The goal is to develop the first cohort of female professionals who specialize in multiple aspects of energy related work in Nepal. Stree-Shakti Project is currently taking applications for a free professional development training and networking opportunity from female students who are interested to pursue a career in the Energy Sector. Interested participants can apply via this link. The deadline for submission of applications for the first batch of participants for program activities in Kathmandu valley is January 12, 2023.
