USEF-Nepal’s Meet and Greet Event with USEF Board and PAS
On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, the Chair of the Board Mr. Garret Wilkerson together with newly appointed Board Members Dr. Tulashi Thapaliya (Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education), Dr. Mukta Singh Lama (Professor of Anthropology, Tribhuwan University) and Mr. Shanker Raj Pandey (Head of Office/Local Representative, KfW Development Bank, Germany) joined the USEF-Nepal staff and invited Public Affairs Section, US Embassy staff, for a meet and greet event for some formal and informal conversations on the need for strong partnerships across the community to make the work of the Commission even more effective. We are very thankful to the Board Members who joined us, as the staff found this event and engagement with the Commission’s leadership, particularly meaningful. The event held right before Dashain Holidays was a kick starter to the Commission’s plans to resume all in-person services from mid-November, 2021 after the end of the Tihar holidays.
