List of Documents Required for Application Submission

In Section: Academic & Professional Information
  • CV-  No more than 6 pages  
  • Letter of Support from home institutionupload a letter of support/leave from your home institution, confirming your ability to participate in a Fulbright award 
In Section: Project Proposal
  • Project Statement- upload a detailed project statement of three (3) to five (5) single-spaced pages (not to exceed 3,500 words) 
  • Letter of Invitation from host institution- Letters of invitation from your affiliated host institution in the U.S. should be typed on institutional letterhead and signed. The letter should also contain the proposed academic year. Please note that invitations do not ensure selection for an award 
In Section: Grant & Travel Plans
  • Passport or Citizenship- copy of the passport data page or citizenship 
In Section: Additional Information-  Country Specific Materials
  • Proof of doctorate and experiences including complete and attested academic documents covering your entire period of study at universities or post-secondary institutions, including advanced degrees. Please submit all records including I.A., I. Com, I. SC., 10+2 and beyond 
In Section: Supplemental Documents
  • Bibliography- For research proposals, provide a list of one to three pages of references relevant to the proposed research. Please use proper formatting.
    For artists, submit a portfolio or report on collaboration 

NB: All academic documents must be attested. Attestation of photocopies of documents may be made at USEF Nepal, by the issuing institution, Government of Nepal, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University or a government approved notary public.

  • Three recommendations should be submitted by your recommenders by the application deadline. See details in Recommendations
