Stree-Shakti Project completed learning workshops for its second and third cohorts at USEF-Nepal on April 1-3 and 7 to 9. The cohorts had 30 and 27 participants, respectively. All were in their final year of college or recent graduates. Women in leadership positions facilitated networking sessions and shared their stories to advise and inspire the workshop participants. The Stree-Shakti Project is supported by U.S. Embassy, Nepal through the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF 2022) and implemented by the Fulbright Alumni Association of Nepal. It aims to empower women in the energy sector through multi-dimensional sessions ranging from entrepreneurship and law for the energy sector to environment conservation through the use of energy.
Stree-Shakti Project’s call for applications for female students based in Pokhara, Nepalgunj, and Surkhet is currently open.
