The Visiting Scholar Program offers Asian scholars the opportunity to cultivate collaborative research and artistic connections with scholars and artists in the United States. It allows them to enrich their scholarly publications and other contributions through research and artistic practice conducted in the U.S., while also facilitating the establishment of professional contacts in their respective fields and the development of lasting friendships with colleagues in the United States. On October 11, USEF-Nepal conducted a Virtual Information and Q&A session about the AY 2024-25 Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program application process. Program Officer Swechhya Bhattarai and Senior Program Officer Rakchhya Maharjan shared information about the program. During the Q&A session, participants had the opportunity to have their questions answered directly by our alumnus, Dr. Sanju Shrestha (2021, Physics, New Jersey Institute of Technology).
